Newburyport Home Sales Range From $320,000 to $2.23 Million in Late-Summer Roundup

Newburyport recorded 15 property sales between July 17 and Aug. 15, 2026, with eight of those transactions disclosing a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $320,000 to $2,230,000, with a median of $712,500. The period's largest transaction was a $2,230,000 sale at 71 Purchase St on Aug. 10, from 71 Purchase Street CBC LLC to Michael Ostland. Nearly half the recorded deeds, several involving transfers within the same family or into a trust, did not list a sale price. Condominium units accounted for a majority of the disclosed sales, and no single street recorded more than one transaction during the period.
